  5.                         Multi-user System License

  7.        The use of The New Frontiers Shareware Explorer CD-ROM on
  8.        Mullti-user or Network systems (LAN) is prohibited without a
  9.        license from New Frontiers .  This License Agreement is between New
  10.        Frontiers and the Company representative whose signature appears at
  11.        the end of this Agreement.  In return for the limited right to use
  12.        The New Frontiers Shareware Explorer CD-ROM , the Licensee agrees
  13.        to the provisions of this License.  This Agreement allows the
  14.        Licensee to use The New Frontiers Shareware CD-ROM for the period
  15.        of one year from the date of this License.
  16.  
  17.    1.  New Frontiers 's copyright covers the research, editing,
  18.        organization and compilation aspects of New Frontiers Shareware
  19.        Explorer CD-ROM as well as any individual programs or descriptive
  20.        materials which are the original creation of New Frontiers .
  21.        Unless otherwise specified, New Frontiers does not claim literary
  22.        rights in individual programs which have been licensed for use.

  24.    2.  This License Agreement allows the Licensee to use the New Frontiers
  25.        name, file organization system and corresponding titles, and New
  26.        Frontiers developed text files including, but not limited to, file
  27.        descriptions.
  28.  
  29.    3.  Licensee agrees to respect the author's copyright notices on the
  30.        Shareware software and New Frontiers CD-ROM's copyrights and
  31.        trademarks.  New Frontiers CD-ROM's copyrighted materials include
  32.        the directory on disk, and all printed directories and
  33.        encyclopedias.

  35.    4.  The Licensee must have the capability, and agree, to deny access
  36.        to any program, or file on their system that has been withdrawn
  37.        from The New Frontiers Shareware Explorer CD-ROM .  Notification of
  38.        program, file, withdrawal from The New Frontiers SHAREWARE Explorer
  39.        CD-ROM will be sent to Licensee.  It is the responsibility of the
  40.        Licensee to maintain their system according to the current
  41.        distribution status as reflected in those publications.

  43.    5.  Licensee agrees not to download files and/or programs from the New
  44.        Frontiers Shareware Explorer CD-ROM disc with the intent to sell
  45.        the copy.  Downloading is defined as the process of copying or
  46.        duplicating a file from New Frontiers CD-ROM Shareware Explorer
  47.        CD-ROM disc onto other media, including, but not limited to,
  48.        diskettes, hard drives, magnetic tape or optical disc, for the
  49.        intentional or unintentional purposes of sales, distribution or
  50.        financial gain.  The Licensee cannot side-step the issue of a sale
  51.        by claiming that they have only charged for consulting time, the
  52.        cost of the diskette, online time, or for labor charges only.
  53.  
  54.    6.  Because of the varying types of hardware and software for Multi-user
  55.        and network systems, New Frontiers does not guarantee the
  56.        compatibility of The New Frontiers Shareware Explorer CD-ROM with
  57.        any particular system.

  59.    7.  If Licensee violates any provisions of this Agreement, New Frontiers
  60.        can terminate this License and continued violations may possibly
  61.        lead to subsequent legal action by New Frontiers , among other
  62.        causes of action, for violation of New Frontiers 's License,
  63.        registered trademark(s) and/or copyright(s).

  65.    8.  The License fee is as follows:
  66.  
  67.              - ($50) per year for up to 10 users.
  68.  
  69.              - ($10) per year for each additional user.

  72.    9.  Licensee agrees to notify New Frontiers , if they have or gain
  73.        knowledge of individuals or organizations that are violating the
  74.        terms of this License Agreement or New Frontiers 's copyright(s)
  75.        and/or trademark(s).

  77.    10. Should legal action result between New Frontiers  and its
  78.        Licensee due to the violation of, or concerning, any of the
  79.        provisions of this Agreement, the Licensee shall be responsible for
  80.        all attorneys fees and related legal expenses, including, but not
  81.        limited to, loss of business and profit to New Frontiers .  Should
  82.        litigation be necessary, any action will be filed in the County of
  83.        Litchfield, State of Connecticut.

  85.    11. The New Frontiers   Shareware Explorer CD-ROM is not licensed for
  86.        use on systems operating outside the USA.  For other countries,
  87.        contact New Frontiers for License requirements.
  88.  
  89.    12. This License shall be construed under the laws of the State of
  90.        Connecticut.  This Agreement sets forth the understanding between
  91.        New Frontiers and the Licensee; it may be changed or modified only
  92.        in writing and must be signed by the Licensee.
